We’re working on updating our knowledge base to be more user-friendly and helpful. Here’s a great opportunity to get a say and help us change our services!
We want to know what style of knowledge base you would find helpful and useful.
1. Traditional, Category/Article-based
2. Modern, Book/Chapter-based
The Major Differences
In the traditional knowledge base, it’s like every other knowledge base out there. Articles are categorized and you are able to find articles based on categories. See: https://help.nodespace.com
In the modern experience, knowledge is organized by “books”. For example, a “book” on Dedicated Servers would have “Chapters” with pages inside like a book - for example there might be a chapter on how to order a server, with pages on the ordering process, customization, etc. There would be a chapter on Technical Support and it would contain pages about operating systems, common programs, etc.
Which do you find better or easier to use?
- Traditional, Category/Article-based
- Modern, Book/Chapter-based
